Europe’s highest race, the Monte Rosa SkyMarathon is ready to kick off on June 14-15, 2025. The organisers are pleased to announce their partners for this iconic event with the addition of a new race, the SkySummit, which adds to the thrill of pure skyrunning at 4,554m altitude on Monte Rosa, Alagna, Piedmont, Italy.

Teams from a record 30 countries have signed up. Celebrating the seventh edition since the relaunch in 2018, organisers, partners, athletes and fans are counting the days for the thrill of racing in the most spectacular mountain scenery over fresh snow falls.

With the indispensable support of Monterosa 2000, the cable car company based at the start of the course in Alagna Valsesia, the lifts operate summer and winter taking skiers and mountaineers to the highest point at 3,275m altitude, also from Gressoney la Trinité in the Aosta Valley on the other side of the mountain.
